Torri in Festa Torri in Luce is an annual cultural event dedicated to architecture and heritage across the island of Ischia. For its sixteenth edition, centred on the theme “Mediterraneity. Architecture, Power & Pathos”, the illustration explores the connection between architecture and mythology.The theme of power is represented through Typhon (Tifeo), Ischia’s most iconic mythological figure, while his theatrical pose introduces the dimension of pathos, emphasizing emotion, tension, and storytelling.Through this visual narrative, architecture becomes a stage where power, memory, identity, and collective emotions come together, reflecting the layered spirit of the Mediterranean.
